The 75th Snowball

3rd December, 2022

The Snowball is held every year with the aim of raising a collection of toys for needy children in the Leeds & Harrogate areas. We have also been able to donate funds to a number of children's charities; most recently supporting the work of Springwater School, Starbeck.

Other fantastic causes include Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group, the Aireborough Supported Activities Scheme, the children's ward at Leeds General Infirmary, Throstle Nest Riding for the Disabled, Digibete and Martin House. To find out more about the charities we have supported click here.

We're delighted to announce that the 75th Snowball 2022 will be hosted again at the Old Swan, Swan Road, Harrogate. The event will be taking place on Saturday 3rd December. Save the date now!

The Old Swan is one of the most famous hotels in Harrogate, with a history going back nearly 200 years. Surrounded by pretty lawns and gardens, and just a short walk from the town centre, it combines Victorian splendour with contemporary luxury.

A Gift for a Child

Guests are asked to bring new unwrapped toys for disadvantaged children. These gifts are impressively piled up on a sleigh upon arrival, and given to the NSPCC to bring Christmas smiles to as many families as possible!

"What a great night! I don't think I've ever been to a ball as much fun as the Snowball! I really hope I can make it next year."
